In this weeks edition of our newsletter we have a number of brand new updates and news items to bring to your attention. Kicking everything off is the news of the latest update to come to the suite of Blockpass services, adding a completely new opportunity in verifying driving licenses! Following this we introduce a brand new series which we hope to expand on very soon in our 'An Expert Explains' interviews, with the initial episode featuring Blockpass CEO Adam Vaziri on DeFi. As if that wasn't enough, we also have our latest blog article which this week looks at reusable KYC. Driving Verification Options Forwards
The past month has seen a number of important updates to the range of Blockpass services but this week has seen one of the most significant additions launched. With the most recent version of our Web ID, Mobile App, KYC Dashboard and Admin console, the possibility of using driving licenses to verify an individual has now been added.
Along with this update there have also been a few UI improvements and minor fixes implemented but the main focus is the potential for a user to use a driving license to apply for KYC and for a merchant to set a driving license as a KYC requirement. This option is currently limited to a specific set of countries, with more to be added in the future. Click hereto find out about the latest update, including the list of supported countries.
Getting the D-Low on DeFi
At Blockpass we like to provide a variety of content and media where possible and have previously used text-based articles, video coverage of events, fireside chat interviews and series exploring specific topics. We are now beginning to launch a new series of audio interviews, the first of which has just been released.
Called 'An Expert Explains', the series will focus on sitting down with experts in various fields in the industry to get their view and information on relevant subjects. In this first episode we talk to Blockpass CEO Adam Vaziri on the subject of Decentralised Finance, or 'DeFi' as it is sometimes known. Reuse, Reduce, Reap the Rewards
In a continuation of our series of articles looking into popular or prominent aspects of KYC and the work Blockpass is doing around these areas, our latest blog article explores the relatively recent development of reusable KYC. This is the phenomenon which drives Blockpass' goals and efforts and has already been instrumental in cutting the cost and time required to perform KYC to a minimum.
Reusable KYC was not feasible until a few years ago when advancing technology and the increasing prevalence of mobile phones gave us the platform and equipment to implement the user-centric solution, but Blockpass quickly realised the impact of new technologies and began work on this revolutionary new option.
