Blockpass & Seedify - Project Focus: Metastrike

Back in October, Blockpass announced a number of new developments, but one of the ones we were most keen to see come to fruition was the launch of our integration with Seedify.

For those that missed the news back then, Seedify is a blockchain gaming-focused incubator and launchpad ecosystem which provides support and opportunities for innovators and project developers through access to funding, community and partnership building, and a complete support system to help drive the future of gaming and blockchain. For this integration, Blockpass would be offering KYC services for any project that launched on Seedify, making sure there was an inbuilt method for instant compliance and rapid onboarding open to all these new projects that would otherwise have had to look for ways to comply with regulations themselves.

Needless to say, Blockpass was proud to have been chosen to provide such a crucial service for countless upcoming projects, with Seedify citing Blockpass’ safety, security, efficiency and privacy as some of the reasons for partnering for KYC services. Blokpass was similarly excited at the potential of Seedify as the project began to assist developers and gamers in exploring new avenues to make money from spending time on games, particularly experimenting with opportunities through NFTs and tokens.

It is through this route that the latest beneficiary of our KYC services has come.

Metastrike is a blockchain-based virtual-reality role-playing first-person shooter (VR RP FPS) metaverse game built on the popular Unreal Engine. Inspired by successful titles like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Call of Duty, Metaverse combines the competitive aspects of FPSs with the immersion of VR and the potential of blockchain technology. With much-loved game mode options such as zombie and deathmatch, Metastrike offers a completely immersive, high-octane, skill-based gaming experience with play-to-earn features for both new and veteran gamers to participate in. In addition, Metastrike offers competitions, buildable Metaverse NFT items, NFT crafting and a marketplace, alongside staking and betting options as players form guilds to gain land which is then used to build houses and HQs from which they can create games, earning money when others visit.

This new means of creating wealth and earning a living through blockchain-based gaming opens up avenues previously unexplored for users, and the development of engaging and popular uses, such Seedify and Metastrike are doing with gaming, will only see the adoption and acceptance of blockchain and cryptocurrencies grow, moving into the mainstream where the benefits will be enjoyed by many more.
